Marine Americare Service Agreements

Once you own your boat, protecting it from the unexpected is just as important as the purchase itself. BTH Marine offers Marine Americare Service Agreements at the time of purchase, giving boat owners a range of coverage options to fit different needs and different levels of protection.

Coverage is available in multiple tiers, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, with higher tiers generally extending coverage across more systems and components on your vessel. Wrap coverage and more targeted options, such as engine only or powertrain only coverage, are also available for owners who want a more specific level of protection.

Depending on your plan, coverage can extend to systems including engines, transmissions, drive systems, electrical and navigation components, fuel delivery, steering, climate control, generators, and more. Many agreements also include additional benefits such as towing reimbursement, dockside assistance, and trip interruption coverage, subject to the terms and limits of your specific agreement.

These plans are optional protection products and are separate from your boat's standard manufacturer warranty and from your personal boat insurance policy. Coverage details, terms, exclusions, and limits vary by plan and are governed by the actual service agreement.

GAP Coverage

If your boat is financed, GAP coverage is worth understanding. In the event of a total loss, your insurance settlement is typically based on your boat's actual cash value, which is not always enough to cover what is still owed on your loan. GAP coverage is designed to help address that difference.

GAP coverage is not a substitute for standard boat insurance. It is intended to work alongside your existing insurance policy, and terms and conditions apply.

Interior and Exterior Appearance Protection

The Florida Keys environment, sun, salt, and water, takes a real toll on a boat over time. Marine Americare offers Appearance Protection products available at the time of purchase, designed to help guard against everyday wear on both the interior and exterior of your vessel.

Interior protection is designed to help protect carpet, fabric, leather, and vinyl from everyday hazards. Exterior protection is designed to help protect painted surfaces against the effects of sun, salt, and the elements. Both are available individually, or together as a combined package.

Tire and Wheel Protection

For boats on trailers, tire and wheel protection is also available through Marine Americare at the time of purchase, with multiple coverage levels to choose from.
