When you apply for financing, you do so through our third-party financing partners' secure application systems, not through bthmarine.com. We receive information about your application from those partners as part of arranging your financing.

Financing and your financial information

When you apply for boat financing, you're directed to a secure online application hosted by AppOne, our financing application platform. The information you enter goes directly through AppOne to the financial institutions that may finance your purchase, such as SouthState Bank and RecFi, and to other lending partners we work with. When you apply for Mercury outboard financing, you're directed to a secure application hosted by Sheffield Financial. BTH Marine helps package and arrange your financing; the financial institutions make credit decisions and service the loans. Each of these partners handles your information under its own privacy and security practices. Information about your financial situation that you provide directly to BTH Marine is held in confidence and used only to help arrange the financing you request.

Confidentiality

Personally identifiable information you provide to us, whether in writing, by email, by phone, or contained in or attached to applications, is held in confidence and handled only for the purposes described in this policy or as permitted by law.

Cookies and tracking

When you visit the website, we may send one or more cookies, small text files, to your computer or mobile device to recognize your browser, speed up login if you have an account, and understand how you use the site, such as link clicks and page views.
